Please get in touch about four to five months before the proposal. This allows time:
- to select the perfect gemstone and any accompanying gemstones
- for a design consultation to discuss the design of the ring and get a quote
- for our jeweller to schedule ahead and then make the ring
- for shipping and delivery.
Please get in touch about three months before the wedding date. This allows time to plan and create your ring with peace of mind.
If you are choosing your sapphire remotely, once you have selected your sapphire, we can either consult the design via email communication or via zoom appointment.
Alternatively, local customers are welcome to book a consulting appointment at our South Melbourne studio.
Gemstone selection – type of gemstone, carat weight, colour, cut (shape) and clarity.
Type of metal to use – yellow, white or rose gold, platinum etc.
Design of ring – bring references of concepts or designs you like and we will discuss and create your design vision.
Your budget - You can spend as much or as little as you like when creating special fine jewellery. We can provide you guidance on budget with alternative options if this is not something you have considered before,
Timeframe to design then make your bespoke jewellery piece.
Once the gemstone and design has been settled on a quote will be given to you. On approval of your quote, we will proceed to invoice. A 50% deposit is required to secure your bespoke order. At this stage we can advise on the estimated completion date and depending on the design complexity we suggest you allow 6 to 10 weeks from date of order. The balance of payment will be due when your special piece is completed. While we can try to fit in last minute orders where possible, it is not advisable to assume that it can be accommodated in our workshop workflow. Please allow time.

We will post the item within 24 hours of payment clearance (excluding weekends and public holidays).
Expected delivery time within Australia is 1-2 business days and 2-7 business days internationally. Destination customs may delay the delivery.
All shipments are insured to the invoiced value until delivery and will arrive safely.
Domestic shipping is via Australia Post. International shipping is via Fedex / TNT or DHL.
