ORIGIN
We source all sapphires in Sri Lanka from trusted and reliable miners and suppliers. Whilst methods to determine the origin of gemstones continue to develop, determining the origin is not an exact science. The origin stated is to the best of our knowledge, but this is not a guarantee that the stone is in fact from that location.
PAYMENT
Full payment is required within 48 hours of purchase unless arranged otherwise. If we do not receive the payment within 48 hours, the item will be re-listed for sale. Payment should be made via the secure PayPal payment option. You do not need to have a PayPal account to make the payment, the PayPal payment option will allow you to make the payment via your credit card or debit card securely, instantly. Payment via bank transfer can be arranged if required, however we recommend that you use PayPal where possible. No other payment method will be accepted.
TAXES AND FEES
It is rare that your home country will impose tax on an item but it is still possible. Customers may be liable to pay tax/import duties/processing fees upon arrival of goods. These differ from country to country and we have no control over this. Deliqa Gems is not responsible for any tax/import duties/processing fees imposed by your customs or government; they are buyer's responsibility. Customers must research their country's import system prior to making a purchase.
14-DAY RETURN POLICY
Loose sapphires will be accepted by Deliqa Gems for refund or exchange (excluding any shipping charges and taxes) only from the purchaser identified on the invoice and only if returned in original condition along with supporting documents (i.e. gem identification report), within 14 days of delivery and accompanied by the original invoice. You must contact us prior to return.
You can choose a suitable postage method for returning an item, we suggest that you choose an insured and trackable method.
Import taxes imposed by your home country (if applicable) and the postage costs for returning the item are non-refundable and will have to be borne by the buyer.
Transactions including returns are processed in US Dollars. Therefore the refunded amount may vary in your currency according to exchange rate fluctuations at the time of refund.
This generous 14-day period allows you to inspect the stone to your personal taste.
EXTENDED 45-DAY RETURN POLICY FOR EXTERNAL CERTIFICATION
We guarantee that this sapphire is natural, unheated, and untreated at the time of sale. Gemstones including corundum (sapphire and ruby) can be put through various treatment methods throughout their life. If you wish to send your gemstone to be certified by a gem identifying laboratory of your choice and the gemstone returns with a discrepancy regarding treatment or enhancement, we will accept returns within the first 45-days from the date of invoice if returned in original condition. You will also need to send us the original copy of the identification certificate from the external laboratory. We will verify the authenticity of your certificate. Upon return, our gemmologists will examine the gemstone. Once satisfied the gem is in original condition as at the time of sale, refund will be processed - no questions asked!
INSURANCE AFTER DELIVERY
Once the sapphire is in buyer’s hand or is confirmed by the postal service that the item has been delivered to the destination address as provided by the buyer, Deliqa Gems do not take any responsibility or cannot be held accountable for loss or damage under any circumstances. If the buyer has provided us an incorrect postal address, and the item has been delivered to that address, Deliqa Gems cannot take any action to retrieve the item.
ELIGIBILITY TO PURCHASE
To purchase an item from Deliqa Gems you must be fit to form a legally binding contract. Purchases cannot be made by a minor; where identified we hold the right to cancel your transaction. If you do not qualify, you cannot use our services.
RELEASE
You agree to release Deliqa Gems (including our officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries and employees) from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected with customer dissatisfaction of service or merchandise, after the inspection / return period expires on all orders.
DISCLAIMER
Information provided on this website is to the best of our ability. Any errors, omissions or inaccuracies will be corrected where identified. Deliqa Gems reserves the right to nullify any transaction in order to correct information and cannot be held accountable for any loses in this instance.
