A striking 2.22 ct unheated Ceylon sapphire commands attention with its distinctive shield cut and luminous sky-blue color. Set in a sculptural half-bezel of 18k yellow gold, the design feels substantial without being delicate—bold geometry softened by the sapphire's serene hue.

Created for a client's birthday gift to herself, this is the first piece in what she's building as her "sapphire archive." She started with classic blue as her foundation, planning to add colours over time—each stone marking a moment or milestone.
